FAQ
how far in advance should we book you for our wedding?
I always suggest to book sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment, especially for peak wedding dates as these tend to book up years in advance. I am currently booking into September 2028.
do you travel for weddings, Are the expenses included in your packages?
I am happy to travel anywhere for your special day. Travel is included in the package cost for the first 100 miles (from Manchester). For every additional 50 miles there is a £25 charge added to your package total. For weddings over three hours away accommodation may be required and charged to the client.
can we book you for both photography & videography?
YES! I would love to capture your day in all formats, I also offer a 10% discount when booking me for multiple packages. If you book photo and video together I will also provide a second shooter at no extra cost.
how long does it take to receive our photos and videos?
My turnaround time is 6-8 weeks. I typically deliver sooner, but if your wedding is during peak season please expect to be receiving them closer to the 8 week limit.
Where do photoshoots take place?
Most sessions will take place in the studio but I am more than happy to head outdoors or travel to you for a lovely in-home shoot. There is a small charge for outdoor and in-home sessions, this is calculated based on the distance from my base in Manchester.
Do you offer prints or wall art?
Yes, I offer a range of products from keepsake prints and storage boxes, to personalised albums and fine art wall pieces. Please head to the store within your gallery to view Prints & Albums available to purchase or you can view the products brochure for the full range.
How long does it take to get our photos?
You will receive your preview gallery within 3 days of your shoot. Once you have made selections and confirmed with Amy, your final gallery will be delivered within 2 weeks. Any additional images or full gallery upgrades will not be edited until payment is received.
Do you edit out blemishes or double chins?
I am happy to edit out any scratches or acne on newborns, or small bruises on toddlers (we all know how prone they are to them!) I am also happy to edit any blemishes or spots you're self-conscious about.
However, I don't alter body shapes or facial features, because I believe you're beautiful exactly as you are. My approach to storytelling photography is all about celebrating natural beauty, authenticity and representing all body types. As parents, we wouldn't wish for our children to change how they look - so let's lead by example and love our bodies the way that our little ones do!
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, for my larger packages; Bump & Beyond and The Milestones Package I offer the option to split your total cost into 3 or 6 monthly payments.
What if our newborn doesn't sleep for their photoshoot?
Not all babies will sleep for their session, and that is absolutely fine! I will be persistent and try my best to achieve all of the shots, including sleepy poses, but if baby doesn't want to fall asleep, that's okay. I will always offer to rebook you for an extra little session within a few days to try and get those sleeping newborn shots, at no extra charge, should you wish.
When is the best time to book in?
For maternity shoots I usually book ladies in around 34 weeks gestation, I would recommend enquiring around 20 weeks to get this date secured.
For Newborns it is best to get them in between 4 days old and three weeks maximum to ensure you get the best out of your session. Please enquire during your pregnancy if possible to secure a booking date as I cannot always guarantee last minute availability.
For the Signature Sessions you can book anytime! However, summer will be limited availability due to me being busy with weddings.
