meet Amy

I’m Amy - a photographer, filmmaker, and proud mum of two, based in Manchester.
My journey behind the camera began long before I turned it into a business. However, after becoming a mother, my love for capturing life’s most meaningful moments grew into something much deeper. I realised how precious each stage can be, and how important it is to hold onto the details that matter.
Whether I’m documenting the tiny details of a newborn’s early days, the joy of a growing bump, or the raw emotion of a wedding day, my work is about creating lasting memories you’ll never want to forget.
I approach every session with warmth, patience, and care - creating a calm space where you can feel comfortable, supported, and completely yourself.
I’d be honoured to capture this chapter of your life, exactly as it is.
more than just a photographer
I am not only a photographer, but a trained Maternity Support Worker and a mother of two. I have worked in the NHS for over 7 years, and have been trained within the maternity unit to support mothers and families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the post-natal period. I am confident in supporting mothers with any feeding concerns (breast or bottle), as well as offering help in line with the Baby Friendly Initiative. I am also trained in bereavement support, maternal mental health and safeguarding adults & children. My experience of working on labour ward goes hand-in-hand with my birth photography services too. I bring this knowledge into every birth, so you can be comfortable knowing that I understand the medical terminology being used by your healthcare professionals and am aware of the situation as each stage progresses, knowing when is appropriate to shoot and when to take a step back.
Along with my NHS training, I have personal experience of pregnancy, labour and newborns - I have also experienced both bottle feeding and breastfeeding with each of my children. I have also attended newborn posing training, provided by a fellow photographer with over 15 years experience and training.
